Ferrari will not have the quickest car on the grid at the Australian Grand Prix, according to team principal Stefano Domenicali.
The team suffered a terrible testing period in 2012 and looked likely to be well off the pace in the lead up to the start of last season. However with the team looking more competitive in 2013, Domenicali has already played down the teams chances of starting in the ideal fashion.
“The situation at the moment seems to be alright, alright with the programme that we have,” he said. “The target is to be close together with the leading cars…I would be very surprised if it was the quickest at the first race. But if we are all close together in a couple of tenths, then the season is really long and everything is possible.”
