Adrian Sutil has moved another step closer to a potential return to Formula 1 this season, with Force India officially announcing the German will test for the team this week.
Sutil, who was dropped for Nico Hulkenberg in 2012 from the Silverstone based team, will test for the team on Thursday, with the other candidate for the only remaining seat on the 2013 grid Jules Bianchi taking over on Friday. Paul di Resta will test for the first two days.
Force India was quick to deny the test would be seen as a ‘shootout’ between Sutil and Bianchi, who appear to be the only two in the running for the seat.
