A Hong Kong motorsport team has set its sights on Formula 1 after becoming the first ever Chinese team to take part in the Le Mans 24 hours.
KC Motorgroup, or KCMG, announced it’s entry to the famous French endurance race this week and its owner Paul Ip has set his sights on the top flight of motor racing.
“I started KC Motorgroup with one ambitious goal in mind – be the first formula one team in China,” he said at the launch.
No further plans have been announced by the team as to when they hope to enter the sport.
